General Information

1} The spit roast requires an outdoor position with easy vehicular access the spit itself is six feet wide and three feet deep but additional space is required for working and a carving table. Once set up the vehicle can be removed. The spit roast has limited portability and can only be carried short distances on the same level.
2} Access to a water supply is required for hygiene purposes.

3} A standard 13amp electrical socket is required within 'extension lead' distance. Where no power is available we can supply a generator for which an extra charge may apply.
4} The spit roast generates a small amount of smoke whilst cooking.
5} Unique cooking aromas attract attention from some distance.

General Information

6} We normally cook the entire pig in the traditional manner, some people find this offensive because they think that meat comes in little plastic bags from supermarkets! Before booking this service please consider all of your guests tastes.
7} A pig needs to start cooking around 8 - 10 hours prior to the required serving time. Our staff will light the fire and commence cooking within minutes of arriving on site. Whilst the meat slowly cooks our staff will set up the rest of the service as appropriate.

8} On completion we will completely clear up leaving no mess or signs of our presence. Rubbish will be left in strong black sacks for our client to dispose of.
9} Any meat or other items left can be wrapped and left for freezing or later consumption but no responsibility can be accepted for Food Safety issues once we have left site.
10} Payment terms will be agreed individually with clients.
